The project consist of rebuilding two trains that where damaged by collision and submersion after that, causing all the electric gear to be damaged beyond rebuild.

Project work scope:

Disassembly of train and evaluation of structural integrity and geometry design, fabrication and install of new updated electric gear by ABB (Traction converter, auxiliary converter, etc.).

Rebuild and overhaul of truck frames, transmission, traction motors, brake equipment, driver cab and main frame and other damaged components.

Rebuild of train driver cab.
